Hypnosis meditation for freedom from porn addiction (nofap, noporn, etc.)

In this video I go through a hypnosis script designed to help you achieve wellbeing and stability in a permanently pornfree life. If you’re leery of hypnosis, know that I prefer to think of it as guided meditation. I can’t make you do anything that you don’t want to do, and you have to want it to work for it to work.

If you embrace the experience, then you will be put into a trance-like state of deep relaxation, but you will easily be able to rouse yourself from this state if something happens that requires your attention. Do not listen to this recording while driving or performing other tasks. Find a chair in a safe, quiet place free from interruption.

Give this an honest try once. If you like it, then I recommend repeating the experience every day for a month. It can be a good before-bed ritual as it will put you in a relaxed, peaceful state of mind. After one month, you can reduce the frequency of this meditation to once per week or only as often as you like.

As you practice this, you’ll find that you get better at it and it becomes easier and more effective. You may sometimes realize that you were so relaxed that you don’t even remember sections of the meditation. This is normal and only means that you are getting better at achieving deep relaxation. Even if you don’t consciously remember the positive suggestions of the meditation, they will still be active in your mind.

[Relaxation Phase]

When you are open to suggestion, the right words can help you achieve a feeling of lightness or heaviness. You will enter into a dreamy state of relaxation. You may notice your breathing deepen. Your mouth may become dry or you may have an itch. Go ahead and swallow or scratch the itch. This will not interfere with the process.

When you follow my simple instructions, nothing can prevent you from entering this guided trance. Of course you can resist if you want to, but that is not why you are here. Just follow along to my simple instructions, and you will enjoy a very pleasant, relaxing experience. Listen to my simple suggestions with the attitude, “That’s a wonderful suggestion; I know that is going to work for me.”

Now, just let your arms rest comfortably on the arms of your chair and begin to relax.

Take a nice deep breath …. Now let it out, and as you do, close your eyes… Let all tension and stress just flow out of your body.

Now focus your awareness on your eye muscles, and relax every muscle and nerve in and around your eyes, to the point that they just won’t work…just totally let your eyes relax.

When you are sure they are so relaxed, that as long as you hold on to this relaxation, they just won’t work–they won’t. Now, I want you to hold on to that relaxation and test your eyes. Make sure they won’t work.

All right, that’s good. Now stop trying and just relax. Go deeper now. With each and every breath you exhale, relaxed even more deeply. Every sound you hear other than my voice will make you even more deeply relaxed.

Now, this relaxation you have in your eyes is the same quality of relaxation that I want you to have throughout your entire body. Let this quality of relaxation flow through your whole body, from the top of your head to the tips of your toes.

Now, we can deepen this relaxation much more. In a moment, I am going to have you open and close your eyes. When you close your eyes, that’s your signal to let this feeling of relaxation become ten times deeper. All you have to do is want it to happen and you can make it happen very easily.

OK, now open your eyes. Now close your eyes and feel that relaxation flow through your entire body, taking you much deeper. Use your powerful imagination and imagine your whole body is covered and wrapped in a warm blanket of relaxation.

Now, we can deepen this relaxation much more. In a moment–not right now, but in a moment–I’m going to have you open and close your eyes one more time. Again when you close your eyes, you will double the relaxation you now have. Make it become twice as deep.

OK, now, once more, open your eyes. Close your eyes and double your relaxation. Good. Let every muscle in your body become so relaxed that as long as you hold on to this quality of relaxation, every muscle of your body will not work.

In a moment, I’m going to have you open and close your eyes, one more time. Again when you close your eyes, double the relaxation you now have. Make it become twice as deep.

OK, now, once more open your eyes. Close your eyes and double your relaxation. Good. Let every muscle in your body become so relaxed that as long as you hold onto this quality of relaxation, every muscle in your body will not even work.

In just a moment, while holding on to this wonderful state of relaxation, I would like you to try to lift your right hand. You will find that the harder you try to lift your hand, the heavier your hand will become, and the heavier your hand becomes, the more relaxed you will become.

That’s good, now go more deeply relaxed.

In a moment, I’ll ask you to lift your hand by the wrist and drop it. If you have followed my instructions up to this point, that hand will be so relaxed, it will be just as loose and limp as a wet cloth. Once your hand touches down, I want you to send a wave of relaxation from the top of your head down to the tip of your toes.

Now, lift your hand. Just let it hang, then plop down as you let go…go…deeper relaxed.

We all do better with practice, so let’s do that one more time and you will find that you can go even deeper. Lift your hand, let it hang, and now just plop it down and go even deeper.

Now, that you have completely relaxed physically, I want you to know that there are two ways a person can relax. You can relax physically and you can relax mentally. You have already proven that you can relax physically. Now let me show you how to relax mentally.

In a moment, I will ask you to begin to count out loud starting with 100. After each number I want us to say “deeper relaxed.” Now, here’s the secret to mental relaxation. With each number you say, you will double your mental relaxation. With each number you say, let your mind become twice as relaxed. If you do this, by the time you reach the number 95 or 96 or maybe even sooner, your mind will have become so relaxed, you will have actually relaxed all the rest of the numbers right out of your mind; there just won’t be any more numbers.

Let us begin counting:

100. Deeper relaxed.
99. Deeper relaxed. Allow all those numbers to just fade away.
98. Deeper relaxed. Now, they will be nearly gone.
97. Deeper relaxed. What numbers? Are they all gone? Good!

I know how relaxed you are, but even in your relaxed state, I bet you sense in your own mind that there is a state of relaxation below the one you are in right now. Can you sense it?

You know that you can clench your fist and make it tighter and tighter and tighter, and you might call that the height of tension. You can relax the same fist until you can’t relax it any more. You might call that the basement of relaxation. I am going to take you down to the basement of relaxation.

I am going to take you from one floor to another. You are going to start right where you are right now and you are going to go down to floor A. To get down to floor A, you have to relax twice as much as you have relaxed already. To get down to floor B you have to relax twice as much as you did at floor A, and to get down to C you have to relax twice as much as you did at floor B.

But when you reach floor C, that is the basement of relaxation, and at that point you will give me a sign by which I will be able to tell that you are at the basement of relaxation. You don’t know what this sign is, and I’m not going to tell you what it is, but every person who has ever been at the basement of relaxation has given off this sign. Let’s get started.

You will ride down to floor A on an imaginary elevator, and you will use that same elevator to get down to the basement of relaxation. Now picture, imagine yourself in the elevator now. Do you see yourself in the elevator? When I snap my fingers, that elevator will start down. If you relax twice as much as you have relaxed already you will be down at floor A. Tell me when you are at floor A by thinking the letter A in your mind.

(Snap) The elevator is starting down now. As you arrive, think the letter A.
(Snap) Counting down to floor B now. As you arrive, think the letter B.
(Snap) Going all the way down to the basement of relaxation. As you arrive, think the letter C.

You are now in the basement of relaxation. Just enjoy this physical and mental relaxation for a minute.

[Beach Scene Deepener]

Now that you are wonderfully relaxed I would like you to picture, or think of a beautiful beach. This is your beach, your perfect beach. You alone are on this beach. You are safe, secure and totally relaxed. It is a perfect day–not too warm–just perfect. As a gentle breeze blows, you get a whiff of the tropical flowers coming from beautiful, lush vegetation. Before you is the sparkling blue ocean. It sparkles as if encrusted with diamonds.

As you walk toward the water you notice numbers written in the sand. You don’t want these numbers spoiling your perfect beach so as you reach the first number, the number 5, just rub it away with your foot. It may be difficult, but anything worthwhile is worth the effort. That’s right, just rub it away, and relax even more. Now take a few more steps, and see the number 4, and just rub it away. This number is a bit easier… and relax even more. Now move to the next number. Rubbing out the number 3 will be easier than the number 4 because you know what to expect.

Now, you only have two more numbers left. You are not the type of person to leave things undone; you are the type of person who puts forth the effort necessary to complete what you start out to do. You will find rubbing the number 2 away is very easy because you have made the necessary effort. Now as you approach the number 1 at the edge of the water a wave comes in and simply washes it away, and you are completely and totally relaxed.

[Ideomotor Response for Pornography Users]

In a moment I am going to ask you some questions and I want you to answer in a special way. If the answer is yes, I would like you to lift your first finger, your index finger. If the answer is no, I would like you to lift your little finger. Don’t think about the answer, just let it happen. Let’s practice that right now. Do you right now live on planet Earth? Yes, that’s good. Just let your finger drop. In the last two years have you lived in Antarctica? No, of course not, just let your finger drop.

1. Do you think pornography is harmful to you?
2. Do you turn to pornography more when you feel stress or tension?
3. Is there some subconscious reason you need to use pornography?
4. Is it OK with your subconscious mind to get rid of the pornography habit?
5. Are you completely ready to quit pornography?

You have a remarkable mind. This remarkable mind of yours is very creative. I would like that powerful mind to generate several new ways of responding to your need to relax, escape, and take a break instead of using pornography. Your brilliant subconscious mind might come up three, four, or five new healthy ways of responding to situations without needing to use pornography. Take a moment to come up with your new solutions for the need to use pornography.

[Stopping Pornography Use]

You have decided to stop using pornography, and the way that you are going to stop using pornography today, is simply to relax. That’s right. You are going to slow down, relax, and just let everything go… and take this time… that you’ve set aside for yourself… to feel comfortable, relaxed and totally at ease…

You have no place else to be right now… and nothing else to do…you have selected this time to be here… so just let everything go… leave all bothersome thoughts behind…and take this time that you’ve chosen to be here… to be completely relaxed… the more you allow yourself to relax… the closer you are to becoming pornfree…

You are here today because you have a strong desire to stop using pornography. No one has forced you to come here. You have come here because you have decided that today is the day. Today is the day that you have decided to stop using pornography once and for all. No image or video is going to control you any more, because you are now in control, and you have taken the first step–here, now, and today–to be free of pornography, and by the end of this session, in just a few moments, your goal will be reached. You will leave this session free of pornography. You will have stopped using pornography. Once and for all this habit of using pornography will be gone. You will begin your new life, and you will never use pornography again.

As the time slips by in this moment, think of yourself in the following way: “I don’t use porn. I have stopped using porn, and I will never use porn again. I have the ability to be around other people who use porn without being bothered. I have the ability to enjoy life without porn.

“Everything I do from this moment on is better without porn. it doesn’t matter whether I’m at home or at work, alone or with others. I am in control. Anywhere I go and no matter what I am doing, whether I am having dinner, relaxing, driving, seeing a movie, looking at a commercial, watching television, talking on the phone, working, or having a break, everything is so much more enjoyable, so much better without porn.”

You feel so much better without porn, so much healthier, so much happier, you’ll find that each and every day you’ll feel more attractive, more confident, more joyful, stronger, sexier, more able to form lasting relationships with other people. As your relationships improve, you will notice an extra benefit. Your energy level will increase dramatically. This will become a cycle of progress with your energy level increasing, while your relationships are becoming easier and more natural.

Every time you see or remember an image that you used to find arousing, it will just make you happy that you no longer use pornography. You will be at ease with yourself in your new pornfree life, able to let your past remain in your past.

Right now, at this very moment, allow a wonderful feeling of confidence to move through you. You realize that pornography is no longer a part of your life, you feel the confidence that you now have to overcome that harmful habit. You have reached your goal to be free from pornography, here and now. You can feel that confidence moving through you, just filling you up.

It is important to realize that to accomplish anything worthwhile in your life you must give it 100% effort, and to remain pornfree is no different. You must give it 100% effort, 100% to win. By giving it 100% you have made a commitment to win. You have made this commitment to yourself that you will always move forward and always give it 100%. 100% to win. You have stopped using porn. You are pornfree, and you will never use porn again. It is as if that person who did use porn was someone else entirely. From this moment on your desire for and your commitment to your mental health is stronger than ever before.

I wonder if now that you have stopped using porn, you’ll have more energy. I wonder if you will feel healthier. I wonder if you will feel at ease within yourself. There are many things you can do that will help you be healthier, maybe going for a walk, maybe working out, maybe spending more time in nature, appreciating the natural beauty of the Earth.

You may even find yourself eating healthier, smaller portions, spending less time in mindless escapism or more time engaging with your passions, the activities that bring you joy. All of these things are a natural by-product of becoming healthier as you have just done. Because you have taken steps to become healthier, you will not experience any withdrawal from porn use. Congratulations. You are free from pornography now. You have stopped using porn, and you will never use porn again.

[Reject Script]

As you continue to relax I want you to listen to the sound of my voice. I would like you to think of a word with me. The word is “REJECT.”

I wonder how often you have used your ability to reject. Almost every day of your life, you use this ability to reject an item or thought. I would like you to spend a moment with me and think about how often you use the ability to reject. You may have rejected a thought about a purchase, a television program, a movie, a restaurant, or a job. Although we have used this ability every day of our lives, sometimes we forget that we have the ability to reject a thought or a temptation when it begins in our mind.

I would like you to say the word “REJECT” to yourself. Again say the word “REJECT” to yourself.

Get this powerful word deep in your mind. Let this word become part of you now.

From this moment on, if that old useless thought of wanting to use pornography would enter your mind, I want you to say the word “REJECT” to yourself and REJECT the thought of pornography. By saying the word “REJECT,” you will be rejecting the thought of using porn because you are pornfree. As the thought of using porn fades away, it will be replaced with a thought of you as free from porn.

Let’s see how well this is going to work. Imagine that a thought of wanting to use pornography comes into your mind. Now say “REJECT” to yourself and see how the thought of using pornography fades away.

Without fail or exception, each time that old, useless thought of using pornography comes into your mind, and you say the word “REJECT,” that thought will fade away and it will be replaced with the thought “I am free from porn, I’ve always been free from porn. There is no person, thought, idea, memory, image, feeling or sensation, either out of the past, in the present, or even yet to arrive in the future, that could ever cause me to use porn again.”


You have found this meditative state to be very pleasant and beneficial to you. In the few minutes we have spent together you have reached a very deep level of meditation. You have achieved your goal. When we are finished here you will emerge from your meditation and you will feel almost as if you have never used pornography in your life, because you are free from porn.

The next time you meditate with me it will be even easier for you to reach a deep level of relaxation and perhaps even to go into a deeper and more pleasant state than today. Tomorrow you will wake up feeling very refreshed and energized, and the next time you return to this meditation, you will go deeper, more quickly.

In a moment I am going to count from one up to five. As I begin to count, all the suggestions and instructions I have given you will begin to work. You have a powerful mind, and your powerful mind has allowed you to be pornfree.

1. You are feeling very well. You know that you can do anything that you set your mind to.

2. You are becoming aware of outside sounds and noises. Slowly, gradually the feeling is coming back to your hands and feet. You are taking control of your life. You are a winner.

3. Becoming more aware of everything around you. Becoming more aware of your own abilities and talents.

If you wish to go to sleep after listening to this recording, then after you open your eyes, you will feel drowsy and sleepy, ready for a deep, relaxing sleep.

4. Coming all the way back to an alert state where you are the master of your own destiny. You are feeling good, confident and refreshed both physically and mentally.

5. At your own pace, as you are ready, take in a deep, deep breath and allow your eyes to open at your own pace. There is no rush.
